“Fear and growth go hand in hand. When you courageously face the thing you fear, you automatically experience the growth you have been seeking.” – Sandy Gallagher
I had a situation with my 5 year old daughter where she was too scared to start her new practice tennis group. The trainer had decided that she had enough talent to play with older boys and that it would help her improve faster to play with stronger and older kids. But my daughter was sitting on the side line crying because she was scared. I explained to her that fear is always part of the process when you do something new but that once you overcome your fear you feel fantastic. It resonated with her and she finally did join the group. The confidence she got from this experience was amazing. She was so proud of herself. And she is aware now that fear is normal when you grow but also the wonderful feeling once you battled through it. Are you facing your fears or are you staying in your comfort level? Have a great day. Make it count, Marc
