I used to believe that.
Grinding and long hours were the name of the game. I had the money but no time to spend it. I came home late, had a maybe drink, watched some Netflix or sports and went to bed. I was working 6 days a week and I was tired, not just physically but emotionally. These days we call that a burnout. Not good!
There is a different way! When my mentor told me there is no time management but only a management of activity I realized that time wasn't my problem. My mind simply wasn't in order. I was doing tons of activities, extinguishing the fires but I had no order. I felt rushed. I was wasting time on things that weren't my responsibility, I wasn't delegating because I didn't even know where to start.
Once I created order in my mind the stress slowed down. I was more focused on the task at hand, accomplished more in less time and made the decision that weekends are for friends and family. AND I didn't lose business. Actually the opposite happened because I was more relaxed, joyful, I was doing the things I wanted and loved to do. My clients and prospects felt that. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
